Packages are removed either running pkgtool and then uninstalling or running removepkg package-name. Deleting /var/log/packages/package-name do not remove the package, only the data about the package.

To fix lba, go to the bios and check that lba addressing should be checked instead of auto or chs.

thats how i removed packages :

cd /var/log/packages
removepkg package name (from removal lists from UPGRADING.TXT)

for step 10.

Is that what rwkmn meant when writing that (hope so)

about lba32 theres no option in my bios neither chs or lba ive checked tripple.
