Atmel Wireless USB adapter vs 2.6.9

Hello,

I've got Atmel Wireless USB adapter, which is tuned & works fine with kernel 2.4.27, supplied by default with slackware 10.0

I've installed kernel 2.6.9(as a secon one) & now having difficulties for it to recognize my devise & make it work fine.....

Anyone had tried Atmel wireless USB + kernel 2.6.9 ?????

Thanks for help.

thanks man.

However, I'm now trying to deal with atmel cvs driver.
1. Configured Kernel as requested
2. Patched kernel
3. rebuilt the kernel
4. Installed the driver.

BUT... when I'm trying to reboot - my system freezes on

updating X font indexes...

it moves no futher..

Any ideas ?

Thanks,

You must patch kernel only inversions < 2.6.8.1 ( that sais Atmel's hompage http://atmelwlandriver.sourceforge.net/downloads.html )

...do you load modules automaticly on system start???? mayby try to modprobe [module] (one from /lib/modules/2.6.9/kernel/drivers/usb)
