ATI problem, udev not creating /dev/dri/card0
Just updated to current, and my ATI graphics card is no longer working, and it seems to be because udev is not creating /dev/dri/card0. Udev.rules shows that it should be, anyone any ideas to get this back as it worked before upgrading.

I remember having this problem a couple years ago on my laptop with a Radeon Mobility U1. I discovered it's created during X startup. When I started X as a user it would not be created, but for root it would. IIRC, I solved it by adding my user to the video group.
