Ati drivers

I have recently installed new ATI drivers for my radeon 9700 card.
It work fine, get around 2500,00 FPS

But can i do something about this, and what is it?

Xlib: extension "XiG-SUNDRY-NONSTANDARD" missing on display ":0.0".

How do i enable POSIX shared memory in Slackware?

Thanks!!

one way you could do it is by creating a tmpfs filesystem for /dev/shm... you can do that by using a line like this in your /etc/fstab file:

Code:
shm /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
or maybe:

Code:
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0

http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Tmpfs

just my two cents...

...And it's also posted on ATI's web site.

Follow these instructions, and all will be well.
