Asus eeepc

I have an Asus eee pc 1001 px that I tried to install Slackware on for 2 days now. but gave up after I'm not going anywhere. so I ended up with salix us, which is all well and good but it is not pure Slackware .. is there a good way to install slack from usb? Or is it possible to turn salix into clean Slackware?

Slackware has been running smoothly on my EEE 1000 H for a few years.
I have tried to gather all possible ways of installing Slackware via a USB drive here
Feel free to enrich the article.

You can install any slackware package on Salix.

What exactly went wrong when installing Slackware ?
