Good day

I just installed apcupsd 3.14.4 from

http://slackbuilds.org/repository/12.1/system/apcupsd/
but i am not seeing any gui for the ups, my question is, is there suppose to be a gui and if not is there an app that i can use to monitor my ups

As for configurations I followed the readme-slackware from the below site, do i need any additional configurations?

APCUPSD is not intended to provide a gui, only a monitoring daemon. The gnome power monitor applet (and thus, I suspect KDE's as well) is capable of reading this information and providing you a status based on it.

Ok thanks for the reply, will look into the kde power monitor applet and see if i could find one
