Ani info why LIRC 0.6.6 (0.7.0pre4) wont compile on 2.6.5 kernel (maybe 2.6.x)?

Hi all... Recently I got tv-tuner card and now I'm looking for a way to get LIRC to work with kernel 2.6.5. So I've tried 0.6.6 and 0.7.0pre4 but both fails to compile. Any one to know how to make it work?

I have not sucessfully compile lirc 0.6.6, 0.7.4 manually however, I can always get it to compiled using gentoo emerge command. so, I believe there is step you can look into in the lirc ebuild :-)

Yea... I've got it work with LIRC-CVS so I'm happy now with working remote control, although I almost don't use it )
