aMSN start time problem

I've used the 0.95 version for a while but in about one month ago I've started using the development versions with no problems, but since I upgraded the last week (and i've tried upgrade every day but i still have the problem) I'm having a strange problem.

Now aMSN takes about 15 seconds to start when before it used to take about some 3-5 seconds...

I haven't done anything new, downloaded the development version, untared it and compilied it. The other times this was enough and the start time never chaged but now i just don't know why this is happening.

Does anyone had the same problem or know what could be the source of the problem?

The amsn cvs versions change rapidly. You could try grabbing the latest one. Apart from bugs, one reason I can think of is amsn trying to connect to a server to check updates. Even in that case it shouldn't take that long, however.
