I upgraded my Plasma 5 install on 64bit Slackware 14.2 with AlienBob's packages. I went from 5_17.01 to 5_17.02. I updated by rsyncing everything and then upgrading per the instructions in the README. Now when I run slackpkg+ it tells me to "upgrade" several packages which are actually downgrades from 5_17.02. Here's the list:
from slackware64:
PyQt-4.11.4-x86_64-1.txz
from ktown
PyQt5-5.7.1-x86_64-1alien.txz
calligra-3.0.0.1-x86_64-1alien.txz
korundum-4.14.3-x86_64-4alien.txz
poppler-0.45.0-x86_64-2alien.txz
pykde4-4.14.3-x86_64-4alien.txz
qt5-5.7.1-x86_64-1alien.txz
qtruby-4.14.3-x86_64-4alien.txz
sip-4.19-x86_64-1alien.txz
If I actually let slackpkg "upgrade" those packages, things break. Most notably: Okular can no longer read PDFs because of the older poppler. Is there any way I can fix it so that slackpkg no longer tries to "upgrade" those beyond blacklisting them? It's obviously hard to know which packages really need to be upgraded.
FWIW, this is the link I use for slackpkgplus.conf for ktown:
