adeskbar

I cant launch adeskbar in slackware it installs without errors but when i try to launch it the logfile out is as so

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/adeskbar/main.py", line 52, in <module>
import adesk.bar
File "/usr/share/adeskbar/adesk/bar.py", line 12, in <module>
import ui
File "/usr/share/adeskbar/adesk/ui.py", line 10, in <module>
import gmenu
ImportError: No module named gmenu

I read the install readme but the package names for dependencies seem debian based. WTF is gmenu? anyone know how to do this? Google wasnt any help. The dependancy in reference appears to be called Python-gmenu.
