Question about audacious - libraries problem

Hello!
I am running Slackware Linux 11.0 with kernel 2.6.18.
I compiled and installed audacious with all its dependencies that are not part of Slackware 11.0:
audacious-1.2.1-i686-1.tgz* esound-0.2.35-i486-1.tgz*
audacious-plugins-1.2.2-i686-1.tgz* flac-1.1.2-i486-1.tgz*

Audacious works ok, but the problem is that at start up it complains the following:

Failed to load plugin (/usr/lib/audacious/Input/libmpc.so): libmpcdec.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Failed to load plugin (/usr/lib/audacious/Input/libsid.so): libsidplay2.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Failed to load plugin (/usr/lib/audacious/Input/libadplug.so): libbinio.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Failed to load plugin (/usr/lib/audacious/Input/libmodplug.so): libmodplug.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Failed to load plugin (/usr/lib/audacious/General/libnotify.so): libnotify.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Failed to load plugin (/usr/lib/audacious/General/liblirc.so): liblirc_client.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

What do I have to do?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Regards,
Martin

It should do no harm, as long as you do not want to use Musepack encoded audio files (limpcdec), control the app via an infrared remote control (liblirc) and so on. I guess you could disable it when you run configure.
If you do "./configure --help" you will see for example the "--disable-sid" or "--disable-musepack" options for the configure script.

Question

I would rather try to find out those libraries. The problem is that I do not know which they are and where to get them from. I wonder why it complains that, since I have actually installed all its dependencies.

These are not dependencies but optional packages. If you want to really get them, I can start with those I know: libmpcdec at linuxpackages.net or www.musepack.net liblirc should be available trough lirc (try Google), libmodplug at http://sourceforge.net/projects/modplug-xmms/ . I don't know about the rest.

Try installing these:

http://www.develia.org/tarballs/mult...2.1-i686-1.tgz
http://www.develia.org/tarballs/mult...2.2-i686-1.tgz

Works great on Slack 11.

Just to add some thoughts: It doesn't make sense to install all those libraries if you don't need them. For example liblirc makes only sense if you want to control audacious via an infrared remote control. Of course you could install that, but why if you (my suggestion) probably don't have such a device?
As long as audacious plays all your songs and there appear no error messages with these audio files, just use it.
