AbiWord behaving erratically
I have a problem with AbiWord 0.7 (it came with Slack 8.0)
which is giving me a headache: I just entered a test document
and named it 'test doc.abw', saved it and exited AbiWord.
I came back and tried to open the saved document and got
the following warning in a box on the middle of my screen:
File /home/myuser_name/test doc.abw is a bogus document
[OK]
It won't let me open the document I saved before. Has anyone
seen this and resolved it? If I am missing some set up, please give
some pointers. It seems that every other program in Slack 8.0
is behaving properly, but AbiWord is giving me a hard time. Help!
Thanks in advance,

contrasutra,
I am trying to avoid an upgrade but I guess I may have no other
choice. I'll check it out since this is a great learning experience
anyway. Thanks for the suggestion
