9.1 install, boot from cdrom, select source as cdrom, Can't find disk
I'm doing a fresh slackware 9.1 install. I downloaded the 4 ISO disks and burned them with no problem. The first cd boots fine, I have been selecting the bare.i kernel. I have a standard desktop computer, nothing special, no scsi etc. Go through setup, everthing is fine until I select the source for install, I select cdrom and I get an error saying cdrom not found. you have two options to search, auto or manual. I've tried both. I can put my 9.0 disk in and start the install following the same procedure and it works fine. There are a couple of other posts describing the same problem but with no resolution. The two other posts were trying to install on laptops. I have no problem with installing 9.0, maybe I can try to upgrade instead. Do I have a bad Disk 1? Was there a ISO floating around that wasn't correct? Maybe I could try another kernel at boot? All I have is IDE drives. Thanks for any help in advance.
