3c59x doesn't load anymore


I was running kernel 2.4.21 perfectly, i saw the slackware packages for the kernel 2.4.22 so i downloaded & i did & upgrade for the kernel-ide kernel-modules but my network card didn't work anymore, i've trying evrything but i can load this module anymore not even manually if i give lsmod i see every time not used, i went back to the old kernel & still doesn't work i try windows on the same pc & the network card works so somewhere this module is hanging !! verybad my pc was runing perfect ... i need help to get this running back please... is my webserver running on it...

AFAIK this module isn't included by default anymore. You'll have to specify the card when compiling the kernel to support it.
