yeah, the middle mouse (mouse3) pastes what's ever on the clipboard to the URL bar when you press it.
Somewhere there's a "fix" (more a block since it's intended) for mozilla/firefox but I can't remember where, and yes, it's irritating coming from windows.
I follow your guide by adding
Option "Buttons" "5"
Option " ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
but it still can't work.
I just can presss the scroll to paste only. Cannot scroll.
Edit => Preferences => Advanced => Use Autoscrolling
This will prevent the automatic "Paste clipboard to URL Path" issue.
The middle mouse button press to paste functionality is still there
but it will only happen now if you highlight something and the select
a specific place to paste. Also, clicking the middle mouse button and
being directed to another web page is now disabled too.
I havent used slackware for awhile, and Im back into it now. I've got slackware 10.1 and is a little different from 10.0. I've tried to add and make changes to the settings in xorg.conf but yet it still doesnt work. Have they changed it or is it just me?
Im tryin to get my scroll workin like before, but it just seems not to work for me. Can someone please post something that I have not come to?
