2 DVD icons in XFCE in current

If I reboot to Slackware current with a DVD in the drive and start XFCE, I get 2 identical DVD icons on the desktop.

No ideas at all.

Any DVD or just one specific DVD?

From the limited set of DVDs I tested, any pure data DVD produced 2 icons. Mixed mode DVDs that had both data and VIDEO_TS/AUDIO_TS produced only one icon.

With 2 icons, when I eject the DVD using the tray icon of the "CD drive monitor", one icon disappears. If I put another DVD into the tray and load it with the the monitor, nothing happens. If I open and close the tray again, then I finally get the icon for the new DVD.

If I continue to play with the drive, I may end up with "wrong ioctl for the drive" and it stops reacting to the drive monitor and to the eject button on the drive.

A number of us had the opposite problem: dual-layer data DVDs not creating an icon at all.
