This is all looking great. I notice that Pat and Robby have already changed the -current "UPGRADE.TXT" file to reflect upgrading from 14.1 to 14.2 as of June 2. I do note that no new hints have been added since 26 April, I was hoping to see some hints specifically about NVIDIA and the legacy drivers (I use driver 340.96 for my old 8400GS card), but I still need to investigate what latest NOUVEA is doing for theh NVIDIA legacy cards. I'm looking forward to this upgrade, because I still use the 3.10.17-2 kernel and have some intermittent quirks I'm hoping will be gone with 4.4.12. Thanks Pat and team for all the great improvements!

The following two lines ought to be removed from the perl.SlackBuild as the x2p directory is gone in Perl 5.22:

cat x2p/makefile | grep -v '\<command-line\>' > foo
mv foo x2p/makefile

There's a regression in libxml2 2.9.4 that breaks the XML::LibXML Perl module's test suite: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=766834

The script /usr/share/lxc/templates/lxc-slackware removes the powerfail line from /etc/inittab but LXC uses SIGPWR to stop containers. I use the following line: pf:owerfail:/sbin/shutdown -h now

Since I moved from kernel version 3.18.33 to Slackware's kernel 4.4.11 on May, 28th my ThinkPad froze twice. Hibernating also fails sometimes. I'll go back to 3.18.

I'm running -current 64bitty, with 4.4.12, 4.6 & 4.6.1 Kernels - so far everything is running solid, I haven't found anything broken in my usage so far. But I'm sure I could break something : )

Looking good at this point, bring on 14.2!

good catch.

the sed was actually added to avoid the specific use in the inittab of the containers of /sbin/genpowerfail and at the time they were shut down abruptly (so a specific shutdown routine was needed in the rc.lxc init script): now it's maybe better to change that sed with this
Code:
sed -i 's/genpowerfail.*/shutdown -h now/' $rootfs/etc/inittab
so containers shut down faster.

No problems here, but then I haven't had any problems at all since I started with Slackware -current a few months ago.
