13.37 cd's?

I've been searching for 13.37 cd set on the internet. I can find dvd(s), but no cd's.
Will there not be 13.37 cd's to download? Oops, I forgot, I found one site that had cd's that was located in Europe. Didn't know if those cd's were official, but didn't think so.

Before you ask or suggest, I haven't worked in over 2 yrs now. Even moved in April to find a job. Also, I'm on a very limited download/upload contract, so downloading the dvd would just about meet my monthly allotment

Thanks for any info.

Have a look here:

http://darkstar.ist.utl.pt/slackware...are-13.37-iso/

Look for *d?.iso

I use the Portuguese mirror, but you may find the closest one to your location.

Thank-you. I just now found one in the USA. Guess I expected the USA sites that are mostly mentioned to have them.

It would probably be more economical to simply download the packages than to download the entire iso.

Also download the usbboot.img file and put it on a stick so that you can boot into slackware and do the setup.

If you look at Get Slack Torrent page you can get the x86_32 CD of choice;
For a Slackware x86_32 install you would need disc1, disc2 and disc3 (if you wish to install KDE. Include disc4 if you need KDEi.

X86_64 is available for download as a DVD ISO only.

Please remember that the torrent download will depend on seeders.

The SlackwareŽ Store provides disc sets of choice.

Another possibility would be a LUG. Linux User Groups is a world list. LUGS sometimes do have web sites to provide member calendars and information. Hopefully someone could/would provide a copy.

Another source to try would be Junior College or even a University Linux users Group to get copies. Check out student affairs for lists. Some LUG do have Linux fairs to introduce Gnu/Linux and providing the distribution(s) for media costs.

Some local libraries do allow legal downloads and burning of media within the computer LAB. So you could try there.

FYI: I suggest that you look at 'How to Ask Questions the Smart Way' so in the future your queries provide information that will aid us in diagnosis of the problem or query. Better subject titles will help others to aid you.

HTH!

As per post #4, found what I was looking for.
Suprised at sites that didn't have them.

Thank-you.
