10.1 Mozilla package + 10.0 install = no worky

I tried upgrading Mozilla from 1.7.3 to 1.7.5 using the package that ships with Slackware 10.1. I have 10.0....after installing the package, I get a segmentation fault in line 451 of run-mozilla.sh. Only way to fix this is to reinstall the older package. Anyone know why?

The reason it doesn't work is because 10.1 packages are compiled against 10.1 libraries which you don't have. You need to find a version of the package compiled for Slack 10. Try linuxpackages.net.

Tried that. LP.net contributors don't like to compile Mozilla, apparently. I could do it myself I guess, and use checkinstall...but I'd rather not.

Hopefully 1.7.5 will be released as a security update for 10.0. Once PatV gets around to patching stuff again....
