Forgot to add: these errors are not 100% reproducible. After booting, the system looks OK. It's only after several hours of use that these artifacts appear.
Ok, I didn't expect the "-1", but I assume that it's the same as "0", so that should be ok... .
Maybe a screenshot of the exact issue might help (e.g. to understand if it's really just missing letters or something else) => would it be possible to have a screenshot of libreoffice when this problem occurs?
Output of "uname -a" and version of the intel drivers being used would probably be useful as well... .

Thanks!
uname -a
Code:
Linux xxx 4.4.38 #1 SMP Sun Dec 11 15:57:21 CST 2016 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
findpkg intel
Code:
For "intel" the following results were found:
intel-gpu-tools-1.9-x86_64-2
libva-intel-driver-1.7.3-x86_64-1
xf86-video-intel-git_20170313_7e9e92c8-x86_64-1
When I see the issue again I'll attempt a screenshot.
