I am running slackware 13.37 with the latest 3.2.13 Stable kernel.
I have compiled it with support for my Bluetooth hardware, the AR9285/AR3000.
It's a dual wifi/bluetooth chip supplied with my Dell Vostro 3350
How ever, upon loading the firmware i encounter some issues with the firmware. And i cant figure it out. If any one can help me get this sorted it will be greatly appreciated.

Code:
Bus 003 Device 003: ID 0cf3:3002 Atheros Communications, Inc.
dmesg;
Code:
Bluetooth: Atheros AR30xx firmware driver ver 1.0
usbcore: registered new interface driver ath3k
Bluetooth: Error loading firmware
ath3k: probe of 3-1.4:1.0 failed with error -5
I have been reading through a lot of bug reports and it seems to be a issue with the device id not being added to the firmware, if i have understood it correctly.
I have also read that there was a patch released to update the device IDs for this chip, but that was already back in 2.6 kernels.
Am i missing some thing? Do i need to patch my kernel? If so, where can i find this patch?
Thanks.
