[ANN] New version (0.5.6) of HooRex

HooRex 0.5.6 has just been released for your dependency calculating pleasure!

This version does not depend on pyxdg.

It adds a -g (--group) option to process predefined groups of packages. At the moment these are all the categories of the SBo repository (academic, accessibility, audio, ...) and a special "all" group i.e. every package in the SBo repo.

This version now ignores input names of packages it doesn't know about i.e. not in the SBo repository. The previous behaviour in this situation was to report the "bogus" package and stop. That previous behaviour can still be had by invoking the new -U (--unknown_strict) option.

The source tarball is available at: https://github.com/cwilling/hoorex/archive/0.5.6.tar.gz, or just inspect at https://github.com/cwilling/hoorex
A SlackBuild for HooRex has been submitted to SlackBuilds.org so may be available there soon.

It's still listed as requirement in INSTALL.txt

Hooray.

No, really, thanks a lot for writing this, it's now an essential part of my Slackware/SBo toolbox.

Thanks for noticing that Willy.

I've fixed it and reissued the release using the same version number - that way the SlackBuild I submitted won't need to be changed.

Very usable and useful. Thank you for this. hoorex is a big help. Much appreciated.

EDIT:
