'restart' rc.modules

How do I get slackware to recognize a change in rc.modules without rebooting?

I searched on rc.modules, but the search function doesn't seem to like having a period in the search string.

In a console,

su -c "/etc/rc.d/rc.modules"

Oh...

Didn't see the #!/bin/sh up there on the first line.

I was already root and in the /etc/rc.d directory, so I just ran ./rc.modules
