'lsmod' in repository

Hi folks,
I have just discovered 'lsmod' is not on my 14.1 32-bit machine [much head scratching]. Anyway - "No prob", thinks I, "I'll just reinstall it".

However, I can't find it in the repos. I know such a fundamental tool must be there but much searching has failed to enlighten me as to it's whereabouts. I assume it's contained in a package of basic tools but what name does that package bear?

Can anyone help, please?
Thanks in advance, Kimdino

That would be the 'kmod' package, kmod-15-x86_64-1 on Slackware 64bit 14.1, and kmod-15-i486-1 on 32bit Slackware 14.1.

By the way, 'lsmod' is a symlink to 'kmod'.

For future reference, you can use http://packages.slackware.com/ to search for individual files within packages. Just change the dropdown to "content", pick your version, and put in the search string.

In this example, since lsmod is a symlink and not an included file in the package (it is accomplished by the doinst.sh script within the package), you'd have to search a little harder since you won't find a listing for it in /bin or /usr/bin, but the kmod package does list a manpage for lsmod, so reason would lead you to use that package to get lsmod back.
