Rep:
grip is my favorite.
for any ripper you have to have lots of of software
installed. the encoder's and libraries and such.
but if you want ripping and not encoding,
cdparanoia might be fine. you may already have that.
14 views and noone rips cd's. that's weak and unbelievable and furthermore i got in trouble for posting a similar ? in another forum. Anyway, i am here to once again answer my own question. Cd Ripper - CD Paranoia is the bomb, i had to install it from source but then again i have slackware so i am used to that now. Anyway, this is a really easy one to use and i am listening to my own ripped mp3's now. Actually, for anyone reading this cd paranoia doesn't convert it to mp3 it justs rips it from cd to your drive in wav format and then i found a program named LAME which works great for converting it to mp3. Anyway, there ya go another answer to my own question. Hope this helps others.
