It's official - LinuxQuestions.org will have a booth at the 2003 LinuxWorld Expo in San Franciso. Make sure to stop by booth 15 in the .org pavilion and see me and some of the mods!

Dude, I'm in Georgia, a hundred miles east of you and San Francisco, and I'm going to LW. My boss said:
"You're asking for a week off 7 months in advance?"
"Oh, hell yeah!"
Finally, its official! Rockin'
Cheers,
Finegan
P.S. I feel your pain though, I lived in the AL for nearly 5 years.

Are there any british people going?
I would if:
1. I didn't have to go to school
2. I could afford it
3. I'm old enough (do they allow 14 year olds entry?)
4. I could be bothered to have a 13 hour (or something like that) filght from Gatwick/Heathrow airport to get to San Francisco, and then I'd have to find the actual place. Is it sign posted?

Any state in particular? Are you having any showings? Ya know, it'd be nice if the entire LQ crew of mods could all meet somewhere sometime, then all of us who think you are "mightier than thou" could come and gaze in awe...
Or at least say hi.
Cool

I'll be in Tampa for most of the time, staying at my fathers place, but I plan a couple of side trips, one to the Grand Canyon and Times Square for new years eve. I'll be flying into and out of LA so there is a chance to meet up with people there.

My bags are packed...
Well, not really, but my tickets are paid for and I'm assembling a list of what to bring:
Laptops... yeah, plural, and every wireless card I can find. If someone else isn't broadcasting, I'm all over it. I know I'm going to scare and confound airport security with my carry-on processing power.
Digicam, so we can prove that Jeremy actually exists.
Hmm... anyone else?
I'm going to be in the Bay Area from the 1st through the 12th, so drop me an email if anyone else is up for a pre-lwe sf bar-crawl.
Cheers,
Finegan

My hotel is reserved and I'll be there from the 3rd to the 8th. Driving out from Austin on the 31st, stop in El Paso so girl can visit her parents for a bit. Then heading to Denver to crash at my sisters place, visit, then from there heading straight to San Fran.
And no, bringing no cpu's cause Finegan I think will have plenty..
And yes, bringing my digital camera to prove Jeremy is real as well..
