image code is disbaled on this site, and it is ugly, and makes pages slower to load. this site does not generally approve of gimmicks, and that policy is very unliekly to change. if you do want tacky webpages, try looking at a site like majestic thanks.

I personally come here for the content and not the members signatures. And like acid pointed out, yes, sites that have pictures enabled are tacky, ugly and distasteful on sites like this which is one reason I stick around here and never go to other sites. And it only slows down the site, something I don't want to happen.

This is going to sound rude, Lexy, but may I suggest that you don't persue the matter any further, either? We've had many discussions on these forums about the use of graphics (such as avatars) and they have sometimes turned ugly! The long-and-short of the matter is that most people on these boards are not interested in images and things, so the site and the ability to include such graphics is unlikely to change in the near (or distant) future.
