I've been to:linux forum article 247 and I just have one question, If this is the problem. Where do I save logon.bat on the Samba server, and do I need it elsewhere?
I have my server setup EXACTLY like the example one, except for the IP is the one I use.) Anyways, I still can't get any windows computers to see it in the THEDOMAIN, they just say that it couldn't find any computers in the domain. Could anyone tell me what to do?
Yes, the workgroup is set right. Just forget about it though, I have now decided to use the more reliable ftp approch, I can log on, save my files on it and deny other access so there is no need for an smb server now. Thanx for the help anyways...
