Check if the cd is correct. Does it boot correctly on another cdrom drive? Have you calculated the MD5 of the image before buring it to see if it was downloaded correctly?

There something wrong it works fine on my own PC but when i put the hard disk in my server its says Kernel Panic what is the problem???
Must i update vmware to help this? WinXP runs fine on my server but when i put fedora in it, it says Kernel Panic - attempted to kill init?
So it's under vmware? It make it more complicated... When you move the disk, do you insert it as the same device (example: primary slave disk in both machines) or as different ones?
I can't login when i start the server i must wait then there is such thing like starting in 3....2.....1..... then he starts then after 10 secs he says Attempted to kill init do you know whats wrong????

Psycho(Clan):
We must have the answers to these questions to help you. Also - punctuation would be nice as it is difficult to discern what you're trying to say.
Just to reiterate and paraphrase what Mara said:
1) Have you got Linux running under VMWare?
2) You indicated that you moved the disk. When you moved it, in the new box is it set as primary mster/slave as it was in the old one?
3) Is the hardware in teh two machines identical?

Q. 1) Have you got Linux running under VMWare?
A. Don't know how can i see i got fedora core 3 is that running in VMware?
Q. 2) You indicated that you moved the disk. When you moved it, in the new box is it set as primary mster/slave as it was in the old one?
A. It was in the old 1 a master and in the new server master too is that wrong?
Q. 3) Is the hardware in teh two machines identical?
A. Most of the things i quess
Server Info:
C2S-2 rack mount case (2U)
ASUS mainboard
3Com Ethernet 100Mbps
2.8GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor
512MB Kingston DDR RAM 400Mhz
40GB Maxtor Liquid IDE disk
PCI video
CD-ROM speler
Floppy drive
Dunno about you but i got a kernel panic when I tried to use a SATA drive but not have scsi support compiled in.
Kernel panic is a fatal kernel error that can not be overridden, because it's vital for the kernel to pass this step if it want's to continue to run.

You indicated in this post that this was runing in VMWare - a virtual machine. Is this so?
I said maybe i got VMware but i didt know and maybe i had to update it but i don't know how because i cant be a root???
So what must i do to start my server good?

Yes, maybe that would be a good idea. But don't install on another computer, install on the server itself.
Plus I would never choose a FC kernel for a server environment. It's got all those nasty GUI tools that screw up everything when run, and it's got X turned on by default. I'd go with slackware or gentoo (or even freeBSD) if I were you.
Since you're at a reinstall, try gentoo. A stage3 tarball doesn't take long to install.
