Yet another Wine Question

i finally managed to install wine correctly on my system running on slack 10. it was a tgz packaged that worked. i was able to install quicktime but whenever i load up quicktime the screen goes black, comes back but there's still some portion of my screen that's black, quicktime shows up just fine. i'm using it has something to do with X and my wine config file, i couldn't fine wine.conf anywhere on the system and i was wondering do i need to just manually create one. i had heard about winetclsetup or something of that nature that would help with the wine config file, where can i download it from.
any help would be gladly appreciated.

TIA

You may find the wine.conf file in your ~/.wine/ If its not there, then yes,you need to manually create one.

I dont know about winetclsetup, try doing a google on it. Also, this is a good wine website: http://frankscorner.org/

If your screen is going black, then try running the "xrefresh" command
