downloadble or .tgz Slackware book

I would like to download the Slackware 10 book. I know it is availble at slackware.com/book, but i would to read it off-line.

I have Windows at the time beeing, so the book needs to be in a form that will be readable under Windows.

Someone told me that the book is available in a .tgz archive, but he couldn't remember the name of the package.

some people complained the book was not made easily downloadable. Leaving overseas, or simply not having the financial ressources, they didn't want or weren't able to buy the hardcopy of the book, and wanted to grab that version. This is what motivated this

KingOfDreams,

Unfortunatellly, I cannot send you a PM because I am not a contributing member :-(

I have created this temporary e-mail just to recieve your file: recieve_the_file@yahoo.com

If possible, compress it with RAR or ZIP (preferable with RAR). You can get WinRAR shareware at winrar.com

KingOfDreams,

Thanks for sending the book, I am downloading it as I am writing this reply

---

win32sux,

Thank you for your links. downloaded that file (the .tar.bz2 of cource!) but sometimes it's better to have the PDF (easier reading with zoom-in actually).

---

detpenguin,

Thanks for the tip. I really didn't expect someone to send the PDF to me (as KingOfDreams did), or give me the link to download in an archive. But if I had no other choise, I would go and search the 3rd CD.

---

dns21,

Didn't understood what you ment. If you are refering to what I said ("compress it with RAR"), I said it so that the file will get smaller and easier to download on my 56k :-|
