Is VALUE Unix command?


Is Value a Unix command?
VALUE=`sqlplus -silent user/password@instance <<END

So in the above what does it do actually?
Any ideas? Thanks.

From the information provided, it appears that VALUE is an alias or some kind of environment variable, not an actual command.
