Question Mandrake 10.1 Greek Locales

I have a problem using the GREEK locales in mandrake 10.1

-I CAN write in GREEK, but CANNOT use special accent characters with spots over them (i dont know what their called in english... something like 'tones')
-I CAN see those characters on the web...But when i paste them in ooffice their spot is EMPTY...
-I CAN write GREEK but characters are printed (on screen) with large distance between them
-I've configured X86cfg to change locales using ALt+Shift BUT IT DOESN'T WORK
THINGS I've DONE:

-installed GREEK ttFONTS
-made my /etc/sysconfig/i18n read:

Code:
SYSFONTACM=iso15
LANGUAGE=en_US:en
LC_ADDRESS=el_GR
LC_COLLATE=en_US
LC_NAME=el_GR
LC_NUMERIC=el_GR
LC_MEASUREMENT=el_GR
LC_TIME=en_US
LANG=el_GR
SUPPORTED="en_US.UTF-8:en_US:en:el_GR.UTF-8:el_GR:el"
LC_IDENTIFICATION=el_GR
LC_MESSAGES=en_US
LC_CTYPE=el_GR
LC_TELEPHONE=el_GR
LC_MONETARY=el_GR
LC_PAPER=el_GR
SYSFONT=lat0-16

-/usr/bin/locale reads
Code:
LANG=en_US
LC_CTYPE=en_US
LC_NUMERIC=el_GR
LC_TIME=en_US
LC_COLLATE=en_US
LC_MONETARY=el_GR
LC_MESSAGES=en_US
LC_PAPER=el_GR
LC_NAME=el_GR
LC_ADDRESS=el_GR
LC_TELEPHONE=el_GR
LC_MEASUREMENT=el_GR
LC_IDENTIFICATION=el_GR
LC_ALL=
-configured keyboard on X86
