Question mail server problem


ok i always work with windows 2000 noow our mail server was in red hat 7.0 and we had 1 guy in our firm who knew linux ....
now he got fired i got a f*cking problem with the mail server and i dont got any cleu what to do ... heres the eror

It's a permissions problem by the looks of it. Check the ownership and write rights for /var/spool/mail/copy

also check if your partion is not full
type
df
to get list of diskspace

i changed the owner of the folder to the root stil didnt do shit
and i got enough space :s

looks to me like the user copy has no mail folder. Is there a user named copy? did they setup a mail folder for them.

owner of mail folder shouldn't be root rather mail.mail
spool files should be owned bu user and group mail
