This petition is to get better ati drivers for linux, and yes i know this might do nothing to improve ati linux drivers, but tring nothing will also do nothing. petition is here . Just about everything in it i agree with and needs to be addressed.
i was going to make, one. now i dont have to.
im going to promote this one.
Edit: ive never signed an epitiion before, this is my third one today.
i signed the real vs apple one, the "bring shockwave to linux one" and now this. oh, i jusremembered i signed a "bring greek to OOo" one about a year or so ago.
if you have a ATI, and buy a nvidia 5400 FX for 100$ with 256 mb ddr, it's awesome, a great card.
and trust me, it will be the best thing you've ever done.
Actually, screw the petition. Go out and by a new nvidia card and send the ATI card to ATI's corporate office telling them what you did and why. If you haven't bought ATI, by nvidia and write ATI and tell them why you did not by the ATI card. Businesses don't give a shit about petitions, but lost revenue will make them think.
