I am happy to announce the addition of Laptops to the HCL. Consider the Laptop section beta for now. If you have any questions, suggestions or find a bug please let me know.

The Laptops category is listed last, rather than alphabetically. I assume that its "last" position is due to a function of it being (currently) in beta status, and that once it is promoted to Official status, that it will be listed in alpha order. True? -- J.W.

Just wanted to let everyone know the Laptop section is out of beta. If you haven't added your Laptop yet, please do so. If you find a bug or have a suggestion please post it here. Thanks.

BTW, J.W. - I will likely leave it listed at the end as it seems somewhat logically separated to me.

lspci, how to post?

What is meant by "the output line from lspci"? It's an executable from which I cannot get anything?

As root, using su, type in lspci.

Copy and paste all of the lines which then appear.
