how to setup squid server in centos? give me step by step answer please!
please guide me i know linux but i am new to centos, and i just joined on job where i am asked to setup aserver.

CentOS IS Linux, so if you already know Linux, this is no different. Did you even try to search for any of the online guides first?

yes, i tried and search on net too, here on my job i am asked to setup a server on centos?
i have cent os i386, will it work on amd processor?
and what is 32 bit and 64 bit version>? which one is better?is 64 bit version more powerful than 32 bit?

and one personnel question, i am BE IN COMPUTER and i am RHCT certified, should go for RHCE EXAM? OR take experience in what i am doing?

This makes very little sense. You are saying you have a degree in computer science, RHCT certified, but don't know if i386 software will work on AMD processors?? The difference between 32 and 64 bit versions, and which is better???

First, i386 MAY work on AMD processors, providing they're x86 compatible. If you have a 64bit CPU, the 32 bit software may (or may not) work. But you don't say what kind of AMD CPU.

Second, there are many articles on Google, that can explain the differences between 32 bit and 64 bit systems, for any OS. In short, 64bit can provide you more speed and resources, providing the code driving the request is written to take advantage of the 64 bit system.

On the 'personal' question, I'd continue learning more basics, before moving forward, in your case. If you truly have a degree in CS and RHCT certification, and don't know these basics, you're missing quite a bit. Get a firm footing, then go forward. Some more study in spelling, grammar, and capitalization/punctuation might be good too.

Yes, as well as other flavors of Linux.

Means that instead of getting additional certificates, etc., learn the basics first, and make sure you have a good depth of knowledge. Your questions indicate you don't know the basics yet.

If you are "on job", and "know linux", you should, again, know these basics.
