LinuxQuestions.org Turns Seven
Happy Birthday LQ It was seven years ago today that I started LinuxQuestions.org. As I've mentioned before, the site has grown well beyond what I ever expected. We've racked up almost 3,000,000 posts and 300,000 members in those seven years. I'd like to thank each and every one for participating, you are what make LQ what it is. I'd like to once again thank the LQ mods, who are 100% volunteer and spend a huge amount of personal time here. A large part of this sites success can be directly attributed to the mods. They are truly fantastic.
I'm happy to say that even after seven years, LQ shows no signs of slowing down. We continue to grow at an astounding rate while staying true to our original goals. I think we've managed to stay as friendly and welcoming today as when we had 3,000 members. That's no small feat. While slightly delayed, we have some exciting code updates just around the corner. Stay tuned.
well done LQ's, jeremy, the mods, and all the users aswell. im a relative newcomer to the site, and ive found it very welcoming and a life saver when ive got myself in trouble!
