this is like the 3rd time i've tried to install slack 11.
im using the DVD iso
i partition, everything goes fine. full install.
the screen comes up that says ok install finished, press ctrl-alt-delete to reboot
i do that.
then after bios screen loads all i get is a black screen with blinking cursor.
So does lilo never come up ? Or does the kernel fail to boot ?
If no lilo comes up, then lilo was not installed properly. Maybe the DVD was not burned properly (although most of the install worked ok). Check the md5sum of the DVD, make sure it is ok. If you say you installed lilo, then it should have been installed. What kernel did you install, BTW ?
