help with sound problems


my sound on my computer stoped working i need help wit this i have windows xp media center ed..... its an hp a1218n realtek hd sound on board realtek 5.10.0.5345 i think thats why it is im kinda new to this but help would be realy gr8

are you saying your problem is in windows?? or are you saying it works fine in windows but stopped working in linux??

... This is a windows problem.

rp.zigg has posted a lot of threads about his sound issues.
Trouble with windows is that there is not a lot we can do to discover the problem.
