Introduction
Hi,
I was introduced to free software through emacs in college (late '80s) and have used Linux off and on for about 10 years now. I currently use Ubuntu (Edgy) on my laptop and home desktop. At work I'm limited to a Win XP environment, but do most of my work on OpenOffice, Firefox, Thunderbird, and Gaim.
I came here to post a networking question (problems setting up an SSH tunnel with SOCKS proxy forwarding), but needed to post a link to the blog with the instructions I'm trying to follow. It wouldn't let me include the link until I'd made one other post... so this is it.
