Angry benq webcam dc c500

Hello all. Its me again. Its my webcam again.

I got this cheap webcam (BENQ DC C500) which runs perfect as usb storage (i can take my pictures), but I can't use it as webcam. I'm searching info around the internet, but no luck. Its a sucky webcam and I'm the last user having it.

I took the game in my hands. I used this tutorial and added my webcam hex fingerprint to the spca5xx.c driver. Recompiled, installed but still no working. I see the webcam in usbview tool as "Unknown device". I tried to reach Michel Xhaard, but maybe he is very busy and I got no luck.

I'm ready to experiment. I want to add support for this webcam if somebody has experience adding support to webcams please msg me.

When I try to run spcaview I got this:

ERROR opening V4L interface
: No such device

Greetings
