What's AVC?

I don't know if it happens to anybody else, but whenever I use the command line, some text inturrupts what I'm doing. I notice part of the text that seems to keep reappearing is "avc." I assume it has something to do with why it keeps inturrupting me. So, my question is: what is it and how do I get rid of it?

Anther side question: is it normal to have a lot of posts, about forty?

They are kernel or damon messages being sent to the stdout /error stream. They are probably designed to be posting at boot but ive had similar things happen when using damons. as for avc ill have to look up the program to really know what it is or where it comes from

Yeah, I did that. I didn't understand the code, though. I'm wondering if there's something in the code I could maybe comment.
And I think it's spelled "daemon"

"avc" messages are audit messages from SELinux. If you want to have anyone here look at them just post the exact lines (but skip duplicates, OK).

I can't...I'm out of disk space, so I can't save files.(Stupid 5G hard drive!)
Also...if you look at my profile, you'll see I don't have Internet.

Okay...sorry it took a while. Here's the code that I have concerning "avc". It pops up randomly when I'm working.

Code:
audit(1165698606.563:1906): avc:  denied  { sys_resource } for  pid=1684
comm="cupsd" capability=24
scontext=system_u:system_r:cupsd_t:s0-s0:c0.c255
tcontext=system_u:system_r:cupsd_t:s0-s0:c0.c255 tclass=capability
The new lines are a little garbled because of annoying and awkaward Windows conversion of the text file, but that's basically what appears.

Haven't got an exact clue but it seems it's denying the process ID for the Cups Daemon from running, or something like that, dunno if that helps, somewhere to start i guess.

me and SELinux never got on very well
