Any known issues with Fedora 20 and Sandisk flashdrives?

I'm trying to upgrade from FC20 to the latest version. I was able to download successfully, but when writing to disk, nothing happens. I tried using Brasero, the writer with the distro but it does not see my disk. Any ideas?

Are you trying to create a bootable USB flash drive? Brasero isn't for writing such images, it's for CDs, DVDs and the like.

Although you might see many post "burn an image to flash" nothing of the sort actually happens when you write data to a flash drive. Flash memory is actually a type of EEPROM (electrically erasable programmable read-only memory) and programming / erasing is all done electrically. The process is all done internally to the drive.

Before you upgrade make sure you backup all important data.
