Would it be safe to 'unblacklist' intel-microde once after upgrade

I got an intel-microcode upgrade yesterday after an "apt-get update && apt-get upgrade". Do you advise commenting out "blacklist microcode" for one reboot from /etc/modprobe.d/intel-microcode-blacklist.conf and then going back to the default?

Edit: Sorry for being sparse on details; i am running Debian Sid with kernel 4.6.3. The reason i ask is that i sometimes get system freezes, they are mostly random or when i watch videos on particular websites, or when i have several (more than 5) browser tabs or as many pdf files open, or when i have a resource intensive app. like Blender running. At such times it is not the processes which crash but my system that just freezes, neither the keyboard nor the mouse work and i have to power off manually. Even though these are few and far between and the system bounces right back up on restart after "removing the orphaned inodes"..i was wondering if a microcode update would fix it. I have enabled intel-microcode support when compiling the kernel and have the package from the repository installed too. (Not for AMD as i have an Intel processor).

What would be the purpose of this exercise? To see if it crashes your computer?
