Gnome "Show Public IP" Extension, Fedora-24

I'm using the "Show Public IP" gnome extension on some of my other distros; but I can't find it for fedora-24. It's possible that this is a gnome-3.20 problem, not a fedora one. In any case I'd like to have this extension. Can I just copy it from one of my other distros? BTW, where does gnome store extensions; and what is the file type?

It appears it is a Gnome-3.20 problem. Here is an issue reported on github with a possible solution. I haven't tried it yet, but you should be able to download it from github, install, make the change and get it running.
