Debian 8 x64 and Wickr Messenger.

Hello.
I want install "Wickr" messenger on Debian 8 x64 but it showed me an error about "libsqlcipher" package. I installed this package and then "Wickr" messenger but when I open my "wickr" I can't see any options and texts because all of them are white .

Any idea?

I think it has to do with your system font configuration. I use Wickr too, and the text on my window is black.

My Font configuration is :

What DE do you use? I'm guessing GNOME or something like it?

I use MATE Desktop.

Alright, then this should be a fairly easy fix.

Right click on the desktop, and click Change Desktop Background.
In the Appearance Preferences window, click the Theme tab.
Near the bottom of the window, click Customize.
Click the Colors tab.
Make sure that under Windows that the text color is black.

If you need help, refer to the attachments.

tried a light theme, to make the white letters dark?

I selected "Shiny" Theme and problem solved but how can I use "Wickr" with a Black Them?

How do you mean? Can you post a screenshot?

Also, a shade of gray might be a good choice if you want to stick with the black theme.
