mac ppc and nvidia 4500fx graphics issues.

hoping someone can assist,

i have a mac g5 quad 2.5ghz ppc with Debian installed and a 4500fx nvidia graphics card,

im attempting to get Debian working with hardware acceleration,

at the moment it just seems to spins the fans up and cause problems with typing on console.

anyone assist ? ive disabled the hardware accell by the user of /etc/modprobe.d/nouveau.conf for the time being.

does anyone recommend a different driver perhaps ?
