I downloaded and installed the Amarok on my Debian8 machine to use with a Ipod shuffle(4th gen). Amarok recognizes the shuffle but i can't transfer songs to it.
the shuffle was restored to 'factory settings' in itunes on a Win7 machine prior to connect with Amarok in Debian.
amarok recognizes the device as invalid, i've formatted the device to factory settings in itunes in windows7, and tried both fat and fat32 file systems, to no vail. i assumed that amarok is not working with the latest version of shuffle in linux.
I Guess you need iTunes for this. You could install a Windows copy in virtualbox and use iTunes from within that copy.
After connecting your iPod to your computer, you can transfer your music or other files from your pic to the iPod.
