[SOLVED] Where is ffmpeg?

I am running Debian Jessie and can't find ffmpeg in the repositories. What happened to it?

It is not (and will not be) in the jessie repositories.

Hi...

From what I read here, it's no longer being included, starting with Jessie. As mentioned, one of the solutions is to install ffmpeg from here. Also found these instructions as well, whichever works best for you.

ffmpeg should be officially be back in Debian by the time Stretch is released.
